The client contacted us to say that she was in a pickle! About a month ago she had tried to remove easy marks from around her door handles. Unfortunately she’d used bleach and it had discoloured the timber. So she got in touch with a company who said that they could colour the bleach marks and make the door look like new. The company arrived…They sanded…. And went THROUGH the veneer.
Now the client had a door with a BIG patch on it with no veneer. So they filled the door with white filler and effected the repair.
Not exactly an invisible repair is it!
Upon assessing the door the team at Terry Waters French Polishers stripped the door back to bare timber.
Sealed it, filled where the veneer had been sanded out and then touched it out.
