Excitement is building as the 2016 Rio Olympics approaches. The medals have been unveiled and the common theme amongst them is sustainability. With this being the first Olympics held in South America, an acknowledgement of nature and the importance of preserving it is a nice touch by the Brazilian hosts.

Here at Terry Waters French Polishing we are always looking for the latest developments in wood. The KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden have created a transparent wood that could be mass produced and could potentially replace traditional glass in windows, façades and solar panels.
