TWFP Ltd was established over 30 years ago as a small Birmingham based firm of skilled craftsmen. Today we are national and take pride in being family run. As the largest French Polishing company in the UK, we provide French Polishing, spray polishing, fire-proofing and furniture restoration to commercial clients across the country.

We have a dedicated and experienced administrative team based in our Head Office and with 20 directly employed polishers and a few hand picked sub-contract French Polishers, we have the expertise to handle contracts from pin-holes to £200,000.

At Terry Waters French Polishing we take our environmental responsibilities very seriously. It simply isn’t enough to be recognised for the quality of our services. Minimise Waste and Energy

Specialist removal and recycling procedures deal with returned site waste.

Our employees have consistently reduced the volume of materials used per employee for the last seven years and it is our aim to continue to do this.

In our premises, minimising waste is targeted to cover printing, lighting, heating and supplies and reducing equipment costs, covers, standbys and rechargeable power.

Look for alternative materials

We are moving over, where we can, to water based materials (all of our flooring lacquers have been water based for years). The quality is not yet there for a true match to French Polishing but we will offer the option of water based where appropriate- the base of the this lacquer is oil seed so it is renewable.

Recycled rags have also been sourced and introduced.
